The lead characters of "Ghostbusters 3" have been revealed, but who will be their enemies? The latest spoilers will give fans something to think about and imagine how scary the reboot will be.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones will battle dead criminals from all eras in New York.
"Pilgrims, old-timey sailors, Revolutionary War spirits, and even a couple of zoot-suited gangsters are ready to take on four formidable female busters looking to rid the city of its phantasmic filth," the website reported.
Apart from battling dead criminals, the "Ghostbusters 3" female lead stars have been fighting sexist comments on social media. Some people were unhappy when they found out that Paul Feig replaced Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson and the late Harold Ramis with four funny women.
"The fact there was so much controversy because we were women was surprising to me," Kristen Wiig told Los Angeles Times. "Some people said some really not nice things about the fact that there were women. It didn't make me mad, it just really bummed me out. We're really honoring those movies."
In a separate report from Inverse, they shared more "Ghostbusters 3" spoilers that will truly excite many "Game of Thrones" fans.
According to the website, Charles Dance, who starred as Tywin Lannister in the popular HBO series, will be appearing in the reboot in an unknown role.
Sony Studio representatives confirmed the report that the 69-year-old actor will be part of the film, but they couldn't reveal any further details. Since he is more known for portraying evil characters, then there's a chance that he will be the main villain in the reboot.
"He may not be the best candidate to reprise Gozer the Gozerian, the villain from the 1984 original. But he could make a satisfying update to Vigo the Carpathian from the unfairly maligned 1989 sequel," Inverse reported.
Based on the "Ghostbusters 3" spoilers, Charles Dance could be the leader of the dead criminals going up against the female ghost hunters.
