"Kong: Skull Island" is coming and Tom Hiddleston talks details.

After battling super heroes in the "Avengers" franchise and evil entities in "Crimson Peak," it seems Tom Hiddleston will stop at nothing to take on anything that gets on his way. Previous reports have confirmed that Tom Hiddleston is the star "Kong: Skull Island" who will make his way through a mysterious island, with its own surprise creatures.

According to DreadCentral, the Tom Hiddleston-led "Kong: Skull Island" is an adventure film that pays tribute to the mythical kaijus. "The film is about a man (Tom Hiddleston) who travels to the mythical island and home of the king of the apes," said the report. "A team of explorers venture inside what they find to be a treacherous island. The story is said to honor the King Kong lore but in a different time period."

In an interview with Fangoria, Tom Hiddleston revealed "Kong: Skull Island" details, including how different this film will be compared to the many Kaiju-centered movies. "It's a truly new reinterpretation of the myth," Tom Hiddleston revealed. "The power of the original story is still the same-there's something extraordinary about Kong as a metaphor-but we place him in a new environment with different kinds of characters who relate to him in very distinct ways."

Tom Hiddleston continued on and explained details about his character in the upcoming "Kong: Skull Island" movie. "My role is sort of heroic, but he's absolutely not in a profession that's recognizable from other Kong films, and neither is Brie Larson's character," he said. "I can promise that you'll be excited by it, and I personally am excited by the nobility and the charisma of my part," added Hiddleston.

Talking to Variety, Tom Hiddleston revealed that while "Kong: Skull Island" will pay tribute to King Kong, this coming film will bring a different twist to the Kaiju genre. "It's not set in the '30s," shared Tom Hiddleston. "There's no movie director with a map. There's no out-of-work actress down on her luck. All of that stuff is respected, we're just trying to do something new with the myth because Kong is an icon of movies. I think he's someone people want to see again."

Tom Hiddleston arrives in "Kong: Skull Island" on March 10 next year.
