Previous reports have confirmed some cast members returning to "Fast and Furious 8" have pledged to reprise their roles including Vin Diesel, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson. However, cast members have still be growing for the past months, with the latest to include a major female character.
Deepika Padukone is said to be joining the cast of "Fast and Furious 8," but the specifics of her character have yet to be revealed. Speculations have pointed towards the possibility that Padukone could be related to Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and while she couldn't be his another sister, a love triangle with Michelle Rodriguez might be the next workable thing.
Michelle Rodriguez portrays Letty Ortiz-Toretto, the Mrs. Alpha of "Fast and Furious 8." If this does happen that Padukone will be romantically linked to Diesel's character, fans of the franchise know that this will be another much-awaited catfight and it's not ever going to be pretty.
After cast news, "Fast and Furious 8" is already said to be moving on with production and has chosen Cuba to be one of its locations. A report by THR revealed that Cuba is one of the major possibilities of "Fast and Furious 8" location, and the cast could may well be arriving if this does push through.
"Universal Pictures is currently in the process seeking approval from the United States and Cuban governments to explore shooting a portion of the next installment of the Fast & Furious series in Cuba," said a statement via the report.
However, /Film has already confirmed the location as New York for "Fast and Furious 8" last year. It's no surprise that the whole cast covered a lot of ground in the last installment, so New York, Cuba for "Fast and Furious 8." Where to next?
