In five days of the week, the person can eat whatever food he desires but for the remaining two nonconsecutive days, he must limit his food calorie intake to about 500 for women and 600 for men calories only.

It's just that, for two non-consecutive days, he needs to restrict his calorie intake to 600 calories. Intermittent fasting is the news theory that aids in weight loss.
