Nina Dobrev might not be in "The Vampire Diaries" anymore but the latest news show that the actress is more than happy.
Dobrev, celebrated her 27th birthday on Saturday at Aventine Tattoria in Hollywood. The venue is a property of entrepreneurs and restaurateurs, JT Torregiani and Sylvain Bittion, as stated in People.
The theme of the star's party was everybody's favorite emojis and Nina Dobrev spent the night with her current boyfriend Austin Stowell and her friends including Chloe Bridges, Nick Jonas, Kat Graham, Jessica Szohr, Seth McFarlane, Julianne and Derek Hough, Chace Crawford and Adam Devine.
"Nina and Julianne were breaking it down and dancing with each other," an unknown source told the publication.
Nina Dobrev and her beau Austin Stowell have been dating for several months now and seemed to have a "great genuine connection."
"They seem super happy together," said an insider to Us Weekly. "They have a really great genuine connection."
Stowell and Dobrev have been together since July and made an appearance on the red carpet during the premiere of Stowell's movie, "Bridge of Spies." The couple confirmed their relationship in October via Twitter.
To be one with the theme, Nina Dobrev dressed as a cat-face emoji, with a painted face, red painted hearts on her eyes and golden cat ears.
The "Vampire Diaries" alum completed the look with a cardboard cut-out with painted "frequently used" emojis on it. She even did a short pole dance while on costume. Boyfriend Austin Stowell also dressed the part by being a panda emoji.
"It was a great birthday," an insider told E! News. "Nina was so happy so many of her close friends turned out. It was a big party."
Austin Stowell posted his greeting for girlfriend Nina Dobrev through Instagram. The post showed the couple on a hike.
Latest news also said that Nina Dobrev wore a hip hugging gown with a slit during the Golden Globe Awards.
