"Scream Queens" had a rollercoaster ride for its first season and with that, the series is renewed for season two.

Deadline reported that Fox "has reaffirmed its confidence in Ryan Murphy." Apparently, Fox TV Group chairs Gary Newman and Dana Walden reprised the horror comedy anthology for season two.

Reportedly, season two will move from the Wallace University venue to a new one -- a hospital, "where some of the most fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation."

Accordingly, unlike Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story," where his cast play different roles each year, "Scream Queens" urged the cast to continue their original roles, as stated by Fox chairman Dana Walden.

"You will meet people with complex, bizarre cases," said chairman Gary Newman, as per Vulture. "This is something Ryan Murphy loves and had lot of fun with on Nip/Tuck" and will infuse that sensibility into the next chapter of this anthology."

Reportedly, "Scream Queens" should have a season two because it had a lot of female millennial viewers. Apparently, the series stands as the season's number one new comedy among adults under the age of 35.

Fox has not yet announced which season one actors will return for season two of "Scream Queens," but Jamie Lee Curtis is rumored to reprise her role.

Recently, Lea Michele took to Twitter to tease that she is likely to be back.

"OMG I couldn't be happier right now!!!!! @ScreamQueens Season 2!!!! This is the best news ever!!!! We're back!! #HereComesHester," Lea Michelle's tweet said.

Season two is also rumored to have similar number of episodes to season one's thirteen.

Uproxx revealed that "Scream Queens" season two has a new teaser poster over at Twitter.

"Keep screaming, idiot hookers. We're back. #ScreamQueensSeason2 #FOXTCA," the caption of the poster said.

"Scream Queens" is created, written and directed by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, for 20th Century Fox Television.
