Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes sparked dating rumors when they reunited for the song "Over And Over Again."

This isn't the first time that the former lovers worked on a song together. Back in 2013, the boy band member did a track with the former Nickelodeon star for her album "Yours Truly."

That was the same year that the two dated, but they unfortunately broke up after a few months. Despite the split up, the 22-year-old singer and the British heartthrob remained good friends.

"Thanks for having me on this and congrats on the incredible new music!" Grande wrote on Twitter referring to Sykes' new single.

The Wanted member released a solo version of "Over & Over Again" in November. This song is the second single from his debut album. Nathan Sykes expressed how much he appreciated Ariana Grande for doing a duet with him in a statement as reported by Us.

"It's such a special song to me, and I'm delighted that I'm able to share this with not only a friend of mine, but also somebody who is incredibly talented," he said.

Ariana Grande was rumored to be dating Nathan Sykes after her relationship with Big Sean ended. During an interview with Wonder Wall, the "Kiss Me Quick" singer revealed why his relationship with his ex-girlfriend ended and his current status.

"When some things don't work out they don't work out. Long distances and stuff like that. On different schedules and touring in different parts of the world. It's like sometimes it doesn't happen so easily," he explained.

"I'm painfully single. So single it hurts," the singer added.

Ariana Grande was romantically linked to her backup dancer Ricky Alvarez back in August. They were even spotted kissing during the donut shop scandal. However, the rumored couple hasn't been seen together lately so there's still a possibility that she's dating her ex-boyfriend Nathan Sykes again.

The pop singer revealed during an interview with E! News that most of his songs were inspired by his previous relationships including the one with the brunette beauty which he claims was nearly there.

"I poured my heart out a tiny bit in a couple of the songs, but yeah, that's a relationship [with Grande] that happened in my life and as a writer who draws from personal relationships and experiences, I think it's just natural that there's a song that fits that time in my life," Sykes said.

Maybe Nathan Sykes also wrote "Over and Over Again" to Ariana Grande. Listen to the song below and find out if he's trying to send a message to his ex-girlfriend.
