Rob Kardashian 2016 news revealed that the actor has cleaned up his Instagram account and posted a new selfie.

HollywoodLife.com reported that the reclusive "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has posted his first selfie in a long time. The actor deleted his previous posts on his Instagram account and uploaded a photo of himself with a bandana covering his nose and mouth.

"Hopefully it means we'll be seeing more of him in 2016," the publication commented.

However, it was revealed that the image was not taken recently. Apparently, Rob Kardashian posted the same selfie back in Mar. 2014 but took it down later.

According to E! News, the selfie is a rare moment since the reclusive actor doesn't usually post a photo of his face. The website speculated that this could be Rob Kardashian's way of cleaning the slate for the new year.

The "KUWTK" actor was recently diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis as well as issues with his pancreas and kidneys. It was said that he was even briefly hospitalized last month.

Meanwhile, momager Kris Jenner revealed that her son's health scare was a wake-up call. In an interview with Access Hollywood, the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch shared her thoughts on Rob's diabetes diagnosis.

"That was almost a relief, because then he can take all the steps," she said. "It was like a godsend, so it's all good."

She also revealed that Rob Kardashian's health is ultimately in his hands. "It's one thing to say, 'Oh, I'm going to get on the healthy path,' but then you really need to get on the healthy path," she explained.

Kris Jenner admitted that her son's previous successes may have been the reason why he was being hard on himself.

"He's such a perfectionist. It's a big challenge for him now to turn all that around, but he can, and that's the good news, is he can turn it around and be in a much healthier place."
