Developer Harmonix has announced that the "Rock Band 4" DLC patch scheduled for January will now be moved to February, according to iDigitalTimes.
One of the biggest problems gamers have with the game is scoring exploits, which is made by people just to get to the top of the leaderboards.
Those exploits are getting fixed and the leaderboards will be wiped out clean after the patch. Meaning, everybody gets a fair shot at the chance to get the highest scores possible. Players may also expect new gear, which is themed after "Psychonauts." This is in celebration of Double Fine's recent announcement, that "Psychonauts 2" is getting funded.
The gear available for free in the Rock Shop, revealed IGN. This announcement was also posted on the game's official Twitter account.
Other "Rock Band 4" DLC updates include minor tweaks and audio fixes. Harmonix also hinted on more content and more details may be announced on Feb. 1.
"We were originally targeting to launch next week, but we caught an important bug (more on that later), and it's pushed our schedule back a week so we can fix the issue," said Harmonix. "On top of this, since the update was supposed to be next week, we do not have DLC planned to release on 1/26."
The developer added that they know some gamers may be disappointed due to the delay, but said that majority may be glad to know, that the bug was caught before it was released, reported Übergizmo.
Recent reports also said, the developers are also looking into releasing their updates on the same day each month, including detailed "Rock Band 4" DLC patch notes, for gamers to see what exactly was tweaked in every updated made.
