Jade Thirlwall, X Factor UK winner and member of "Little Mix", has been linked to Jason Derulo around Christmas of 2015. However, only a few weeks into the dating rumors, the "Love Me Like You" star has been vocal about the difficulty of finding the right guy.
Back in December, Jade Thirwall and Jason Derulo were confirmed to be dating according to Daily Mail. The pretty pop star has confessed that she and Derulo were in the early phase of the relationship. Thirwall's bandmate, Jesy Nelson, even commented about Thirwall and Derulo's budding romance.
"She's got someone on the go," Nelson told The Sun. His name starts with a J...then a D."
However, fast forward to the start of 2016, Jade Thirlwall and Jason Derulo seem like they are not into each other anymore. The 23-year-old pop princess expressed how she's been struggling to find the man who is more interested in her rather than her popularity. According to Mirror, Thirwall said that the guys she date appear to be more fascinated in her involvement with "Little Mix" rather than getting to know her individually.
"I've been on dates where we've sat there and the first thing they've asked me is, 'What's it like being in Little Mix?' I'm like, 'Game Over'," Thirwall told Top of The Pops Magazine. "It's hard to find someone who's in it for the right reasons."
Could she, in some way, be referring to former flame Jason Derulo? Whether this is the case, one thing can be learned here. Jade Thirlwall is looking for someone who she can connect with in a deeper way and have meaningful conversations with; not just talks about her showbiz success.
Now that Jason Derulo is out of the picture, looks like Jade Thirlwall will be dateless on Valentine's Day, same with her pal Perrie Edwards, who also broke up with ex-One Direction member Zayn Malik. The half part of "Little Mix", though, is currently in solid relationships. Leigh-Anne Pinnock is in a relationship with boyfriend Jordan Whilst.
