One of the biggest hypes for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was First Order leader, Captain Phasma. It came as a letdown to many as the "Star Wars" character only got very little screen time. Now that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has been well and done with, fans are now hyped for "Star Wars Episode 8" spoilers.

Now, "Game of Thrones" actress Gwendoline Christie teased that she was coming back in "Star Wars Episode 8" for a much "bigger role."

In a report by The Independent, the actress teased that she will be back for the highly anticipated sequel to the "Star Wars" franchise.

The 37-year old Christie said that she loved the notion of a female Stormtrooper. She added that she thought that the costume was "incredibly striking."

"I felt it encouraged diversity and it was doing something new and it was an interesting bit of casting for women," she said.

The female Stormtrooper was last seen presumably killed off-screen by Finn, Han Solo and Chewbacca after being thrown off a garbage chute. Because of this, many fans of the franchise were disappointed that an overly hyped character was given so little screen time, only to be killed off toward the end of the film.

However, the actress confirmed her return in the sequel. According to the latest "Star Wars Episode 8" spoilers,  she teased that she was going to be given a bigger role in the sequel. Fans need not be disappointed as  President of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy confirmed this bit of information in a report with The LA Times

"She's an important character, a baddie in the best sense of the word"  Kennedy said of the latest "Star Wars Episode 8" spoilers.

It is speculated that Captain Phasma most likely escaped the Starkiller Base when it exploded. There are no further details as of now as to what her role will be in "Star Wars Episode 8," so everything is open to speculation as of this moment.

"Star Wars Episode 8" opens in theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
