Very few is said by Disney about the much-awaited sequel to Anna and Elsa's story, "Frozen 2," which is perhaps why several rumors and theories surface online.

One of the most interesting rumors (via Crossmap), so far, is that Tarzan might make an appearance in "Frozen 2" and be introduced as Elsa and Anna's long lost brother as part of Disney's "shared universe."

The theory about Elsa, Anna and Tarzan's connection started circulating two years ago when "Frozen" co-director Chris Buck revealed in an interview with MTV his "Tarzan-Frozen story."

"When you're working on a feature, you have a lot of time to think about stuff because it takes four years to make one," Chris Buck said.

"I think Jena and I were walking to a meeting, and I just start to tell her the entire story. I said, 'Of course Anna and Elsa's parents didn't die... Yes, there was a shipwreck, but they were at seas a little bit longer that we think they were because the mother was pregnant, and she gave birth on the boat, to a little boy."

He added, "They get shipwrecked, and somehow they were really washed far away from the Scandinavian waters, and they end up in the jungle. They end up building a tree house and a leopard kills them, so their baby boy is raised by gorillas."

The last statement where Chris Buck mentioned a "baby boy is raised by gorillas," of course, referred to Tarzan. Even the shipwreck may have been one of Ariel's underwater explorations in "The Little Mermaid." It also connected to "Tangled" because some theories said that the King and Queen of Arendelle (Elsa and Anna's parents) were on their way to Rapunzel's wedding when they ship sank.

Chris Buck, however, clarified that his stories are not official, saying, "In my little head, Anna and Elsa's brother is Tarzan... that's my fun, little world."

"Whatever people want to believe, go for it. That's the spirit of Disney," he finally said.
