Many have been wondering why Daniel Bryan was not included in WWE's 30-man battle royal of the 2016 Royal Rumble.

Recent news have circulated that Bryan had already received clearance for his previous injury. But recent speculations say that WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, is the one who has put off his comeback.

Last year, Daniel Bryan had to take rest from competition when information about his critical injury surfaced the news. In a previous report by Wrestlezone, they noted that Daniel Bryan's ongoing injury involves a head concussion and could possibly be career ending and prevent his return to the ring again.

It has reportedly been caused by a match with Sheamus on WWE Smackdown. Rumors have it that many already know about his injury but remained quiet about it. It was not until Bret Hart blurted it out in the open, during an interview, that WWE were forced to take action on the matter.

"Daniel Bryan is finished," Hart told Sports Illustrated, according to Wrestlezone

"He'll never wrestle again. I don't think he knows it yet. I feel terrible about Daniel Bryan. For all intents and purposes, he had the exact same thing happen to him that happened to me after Bill Goldberg kicked me in the head."

This year, after months of rest and recovery, and with injury bug causing WWE stars like John Cena to be out of the game, many have been wondering if this would be the right time for Daniel Bryan's return. McMahon and Bryan seemingly agreed that the latter needs to get a third party medical clearance first before any consideration of a comeback.

Apparently, Bryan was able to get a clearance before the 2016 Royal Rumble commenced, according to Christian Today. However, even with a go signal from the doctors, it was rumored that Vince McMahon won't allow Bryan to participate in the fight anymore.

In a news from The Wrestling Observer, McMahon purportedly told Daniel Bryan that he will not return to WWE and compete for the company ever again, according to Fansided.

It appears that should Bryan still work for WWE, it would be for non-wrestling appearances only. This is a hard hit for Bryan and his fans. Whether the allegations were true, one thing has been evident, Bryan is still missing in action in the WWE scene.
