Rumors about Fifth Harmony splitting up do not seem to die down and most of the intrigues are pointed towards 5H member Camila Cabello, who had a recent stint with Canadian singer Shawn Mendes.
Following her successful collaboration with Shawn Mendes in the single "I Know What You Did Last Summer," Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello addressed rumors about her doing "calculated plans" for a solo career.
"They turned me [doing the song] into a conspiracy theory. We literally just wrote a song backstage and it ended up becoming something awesome. It wasn't a career move that I carefully planned out," Camila Cabello said (via Australia Network News).
She also expressed in a Twitter message her disappointment about the backlash she received from Fifth Harmony fans who thought she is starting a career of her own. In her Twitter post, Camila said: "There is not enough time in the world to explain yourself to people that already think they know your intentions... so let it go."
And most recently, Camila Cabello is seen hanging out with pop superstar Taylor Swift, along with "Empire" star Serayah McNeill. On her Instagram account, Taylor Swift posted a picture of them three hugging and captioned it (via Daily Mail): "Saturdays are for group hugs."
Last year, Taylor Swift also threw a birthday party for Camila Cabello with their BFFs Selena Gomez, Jaime King, Hailee Steinfeld, Joey King and Paramore's Hayley Williams.
Meanwhile, in the latest March issue of Seventeen, Fifth Harmony, once again, addressed reports about the group calling it quits and splitting up.
Dinah Jane told Seventeen, "We want to share real stuff that's been happening in our lives."
"Over the past year, we've experienced love and heartbreak, and it's taken a toll on us. You can't always show that you are confident because that's not the truth," she added.
And when asked where they see themselves in 10 years, Dinah Jane responded, "I don't see us still doing this, but by then I hoped we'll have toured the world and won a couple of Grammys for songs we are really passionate about."
