Cynthia Bailey's husband Peter Thomas has been accused of assaulting a man after an altercation at his own bar.
According to TMZ, a Sports One patron named Brandon Link claimed Thomas assaulted him in his Sports One bar in Charlotte. Peter Thomas owns the bar along with wife and "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Cynthia Bailey.
Link said the incident happened when he was negotiating the price to rent out Peter's space in the morning hours of Jan. 24.
In the middle of the conversation, the Bravo star suddenly shouted "You think I give a f**k about your money!" right before throwing the man across the room, reported Daily Mail.
According to Brandon, he hit his head on a table when Peter pushed him.
Police officials were called immediately and although the victim claimed he suffered a concussion, responding officers saw no reason to make any arrests at the bar.
Peter, on the other hand, had his own side of the story. He claimed that no fight took place in the bar.
Cynthia Bailey's husband said that Link was so aggressively drunk that security had to escort him out of Sports One. Peter claimed that Link was only injured after slipping on ice.
Initially, the officers who responded to Brandon's call determined no assault occurred, but a police insider said Brandon went to the magistrate's office with more details on the fight.
A representative from the Mecklenburg County Sherri's Office revealed that Peter has been issued a criminal summon as of Feb. 1.
"Authorities found a compelling enough reason to call Mr. Thomas in for questioning," the representative said, reported RadarOnline. "They want to hear his side of the story and get more answers."
Both Peter Thomas and Cynthia Bailey are yet to comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, Bailey and Thomas' marriage went into trouble last year when a video of Thomas cozying up with an unidentified woman at his North Carolina Sports One bar surfaced online.
