A "Fallout 4" patch update has fixed a ton of bugs.

The new patch 1.3 release date is confirmed for February and will be released on Steam. The beta allowed those with a copy of "Fallout 4" for the PC to try it out ahead of its official launch date.

According to Gotta be Mobile, the PC update is already available on Bethesda and through Steam as an automatic download. There were some users that saw a 94MB download through Steam so it should be quite fast to attain.

NVIDIA explained one of the newest features, a new ambient occlusion setting dubbed HBAO+, used the new DirectX11 technology.

"This new feature enables HBAO+ ambient occlusion shadows to be rendered far into the distance, improving image quality screen wide," explained NVIDIA on GeForce. "This is especially noticeable in cities with large buildings that are accurately shadowed by HBAO+ as far as the eye can see."

"In the screenshot below, note the deeper, richer shadowing around every window and building edge; the prominent and realistic shadowing around vehicles; the shadowing that enables you to discern tufts of grass and smaller pieces of foliage; the new shadowing on building interiors; the shadows in the crater that enable you to see the different height and depth of terrain features; and the screen-wide ambient occlusion shadows that are visible even in the very back of the scene, most visibly under the highway."

The "Fallout 4" patch 1.3 update mainly targeted the many bugs that caused disappointment to gamers. There were over 50 gameplay, quest and workshop fixes that varied from general memory and stability improvements to issues with settlement happiness calculations.

While the new update has a lot of goodies for its players, there will no doubt be new bugs to fix. Bethesda is open to receiving feedback on their site in order to improve their game in the next patch.

For the Xbox One and PS4 new patch 1.3 update of "Fallout 4," Bethesda updated on their Twitter that the update for the game consoles will be released later this week.
