'Left 4 Dead 3' Not Cancelled; Confirmed Coming On 2017? Set To Introduce Four New Characters!

Is "Left 4 Dead 3" cancelled or not? This is the question that vast majority of the fans are waiting to have an answer for a long time.

Apparently, it's been almost six years since "Left 4 Dead 2" has been released yet there's still no official word from its game developer, Valve Corporation, regarding on the release of "Left 4 Dead 3."

As a result, there have been various rumors swirling about the long-awaited game lately, claiming that Valve are not only planning to announce "Left 4 Dead 3" anytime soon - but what's worse is, the game itself might be cancelled entirely for good.

"Left 4 Dead" fanatics then were apparently disappointed upon hearing the rumors and were convinced that the highly anticipated sequel is not happening at all.

"The problem, according to some, is that the studio has become too comfortable in their current situation of being the leader in the PC market," Master Herald reported. "[And] they are earning enough money from Steam that they don't really need to make games anymore."

However, a recent report by Game Spot seems to debunk such cancellation rumors and asserted that the "Left 4 Dead 3" title is indeed being worked on.

If the reports to prove true, "Left 4 Dead 3" is apparently included among the games planned to be released under its new and upcoming Source 2 game engine.

What's more, a former employee further intensified that the game is indeed not cancelled and claimed that the game will moreover have an all new set of characters coming as the game releases.

Cross Map, in its report, noted that four characters that game players will get to know are Katherine, a 24-year-old former stewardess; a comic book nerd that reminiscent of Louis named Keenan; third is Garret Jr. - the muscle of the group; a well-known Kenpo Fighter and lastly, a gangster named Irvin.

"The first character is Irvin, a gangster who claims that he was the one who was able to survive in his 'hood' and is said to be reminiscent of Francis (Left 4 Dead) and Coach (Left 4 Dead 2)," the report revealed.

Aside from the four new characters, the same source moreover leaked that "Left 4 Dead 3" would additionally have six campaigns - Crash-Land, Inquisitor Land, Early Destination, No Mercy, Impasse and Cliffhanger.

Albeit the fact that those mentioned are unverified information, vast majority of the fans then were apparently eager to have the game and felt intense happiness, not to mention that game is rumored to come out either late 2017 or 2018.
