There is a new TV series underway that might reportedly be based on Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's life together as well as Scientology. News reports revealed it will be shown on the E! channel.
According to Deadline, the plot alone of the upcoming series seemingly presents so much similarity to the real life love story of Suri Cruise's parents as well as their connection to Scientology.
Titled "The Arrangement," the story follows the life of characters Megan Morrison and top action star Kyle West, who get close after starring opposite each other in a movie. As their love story unfolded, Morrison has presented a deal that she never saw coming.
It was also mentioned that West's mentor was the head of an organization called the Institute of The Higher Mind.
As reported by Variety, the 10-episode long series will be the second scripted project that the E! Network will carry following the great acceptance of audiences for "The Royals."
Although Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise have not addressed that news of how similar their personal story was to the upcoming TV series, E! Network has insisted back in August that the new show was purely fictional.
"The character of Kyle West is not at all inspired by anyone in particular," E! explained in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter back then.
"Kyle is a young, rising star who was recently left at the altar by his actress ex-girlfriend."
Despite the news denial that the story was not related at all to Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, it was also mentioned in the THR report that the characters of the series first went on a date in Italy - the same place where the exes were first spotted together. The male lead was also very committed to a spirituality group just like the "Mission: Impossible" actor.
