As reports confirmed, filming for "Outlander" season 2 is wrapping up.  Speculations are now surfacing that cast and crew will "get a nice little break prior to the inevitable start of season 3," CarterMatt reported.

"Starz has not officially issued a renewal just yet, but in our mind we consider it almost a sure thing," the article added. "Not only does the series generate strong ratings, but there's also awards buzz that led to Golden Globe nominations for Cait, Tobias Menzies, and the series itself."

Meanwhile, Sam and Caitriona have addressed dating rumors in a previous interview with E! News. The rumored couple made it clear that they are not a real life couple.

"We're not together," Caitriona said. "It's funny. We've always said from the get go that we're incredibly great friends. And to have that friendship and that closeness and to be able to get along as we do on set, it's great that we're able to get along that well. We're not together. I'm sorry to break people's hearts. They like to try to maybe replicate the Claire and Jamie story. But I think it would be difficult for us to work together and be together."

"Yeah, we could try..." Sam replied. "No, I think it's strange, isn't it?" he continued, musing about the fans' desire to see them date in real life. "Because I think people buy into the show and us saying it's not real, they feel like they've been duped. It's like, 'You acted it. You lied to us!' And I'm like, 'Well, sorry!'"
