Chelsea Handler's new show "Chelsea Does" was not getting that much-raved reviews since dropping on Netflix last month. The host, who was previously rumored to be after Jimmy Fallon's job, was said to be just talking about herself throughout the four-part series, apparently.

According to Time, the new Netflix series was a "narcissistic new low." While they call some interviews impressive despite the usual injection of humor on it, they also noted that the conversation still boiled down simply and revolved about the former "Chelsea Lately" host. It was also noted that throughout some of the episodes, what seemingly appeared to only matter was Handler's opinion.

"The only opinion I'm concerned about is, really, my own," the 40-year-old said toward the end as cited by the source above. "I'm really happy."

Prior to the release of Netflix's "Chelsea Does," a network executive said that Chelsea Handler will be viral because of its uniqueness and interesting quality compared to late-night shows like Jimmy Fallon's.

"One of the things I find frustrating about late-night TV - and I'm a fan of it - is that there's such intent to create a viral moment that the show becomes kind of chaotic," Netflix CCO Ted Sarandos told the Los Angeles Times. "Chelsea's show will become viral just in the way it's watched."

The New York Times though said that collectively the marriage, racism, Silicon Valley and drugs episodes didn't quite triumph over other documentaries as the reinvention didn't appear effective.

Despite the not-so-rave reviews about "Chelsea Does," Chelsea Handler won't be going back to late-night or even attempt to take over Jimmy Fallon's job as rumors previously said.

Aside from that, the former E! late-night show host also has a talk show set to appear on Netflix. There's no exact date yet for its release but "The View's" Bill Wolff will headline it.
