The NBA Draft 2015 is already being the focus of many teams and one player is the main reason why.

Ben Simmons has been a phenomenon with his all-around game and height being compared to the King, LeBron James.

While we may be getting ahead of ourselves, it should be noted that Simmons plays like a 6-10 point guard but he can still rebound and block shots like a center. He possesses a skill set that would be very useful in today's game.

LA Daily News wondered how he would fare with their team, the Lakers, and they elicited these comments.

"What makes him special is his ability to handle the ball," an unnamed NBA executive offered. "He's the most unique handling big to come to the league since LeBron James."

Lakers forward and LSU alum Brandon Bass provided an in-depth breakdown on Simmons: "He can pass. He has a good feel for the game. He's a great ball-handler and very talented. I think he has a bright future."

With teams like the Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics and recently the Phoenix Suns all drooling for his services, the Australian teenager seems to have made his choice, if he had his way.

"When not lighting up NCAA defenses, the presumptive top overall draft selection has sent some signs he might not mind reuniting with his high school teammate D'Angelo Russell and putting on a slightly different shade of purple and gold next season," Silver Screen And Roll said.

A tweet with a photo of Simmons wearing a Magic Johnson jersey was the latest among a long line of evidence. Simmons also attended the Lakers two visits to play the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Lakers would definitely welcome Simmons with open arms and one could surmise that he is the reason why the Lakers are tanking. There are certain methods to veer a player towards a team's direction, like the allegation that Kristaps Porzingis' agent denied a meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers so he would go to New York.

Would Ben Simmons make those same moves to ensure he ends up in Purple and Gold?
