"Jurassic World 2" gets some new updates straight from Bryce Dallas Howard.
The Hollywood actress was so excited for the movie sequel that she went straight to the screenwriters to get some information. While they weren't willing to reveal it to her first, she was able to walk away with some details in the next film.
"They've told me some stuff and I'm so excited," said the actress on Lawyer Herald.
"Jurassic World" is the rebooted film of the "Jurassic Park" franchise and took place a couple of decades later after the first park had closed.
Unlike the previous films, science had produced the first hybrid dinosaur, known as the Indominous Rex, and planned to make it the newest attraction in the fully functioning dino park. However, things take a turn for the worse when the hybrid reptile escapes it's cage and threatens all the park goers.
Howard played Claire, the "Jurassic World" park manager, who goes on to save the lives of her two nephews with the help of Owen, who was played by Chris Pratt.
Fans have speculated as to whether Claire would be updating her footwear or keeping it in "Jurassic World 2," since she was running around being chased by dinosaurs on stiletto pumps in the first film. In fact, there are a lot of questions regarding her unusual choice of footwear.
In an Independent update, the heels were reportedly a very important part of Claire's character development. She could have easily taken them off to save herself the risk of tripping and injuring herself. However, Howard defended her character by stating that it was "illogical" for Claire to be carrying heels while running through a forest.
"Claire is a different person now," explained the actress. "You know, the person she is at the end of the movie is not the person she was in the beginning. Her armor of sorts was that white, pristine outfit with heels in a very corporate environment and stuff, and the chick at the end...totally different. So yeah...its better not to be heels."
More updates on the sequel film will hopefully be released in the coming months and "Jurassic World 2" will be in cinemas by June 22, 2018.
