Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton may have gone through an emotional divorce, but both are now happy in their new relationship. The 32-year-old singer seemed to be contented with her new boyfriend Anderson East.
In fact, the two spent the weekend together writing a new song so they are probably doing a duet. Lambert shared her photo playing the guitar on Instagram that was allegedly shot by her 27-year-old boyfriend as she tagged him in her post.
While Miranda Lambert and Anderson East get busy on their new music, her ex-husband Blake Shelton and his girlfriend Gwen Stefani seem to be doing the same. The couple was spotted at a studio in Los Angeles which started out speculations that they are doing a duet.
Hollywood Life reported that the 39-year-old country superstar and the 46-year-old rocker chick are planning to record a country song, but they haven’t confirmed it yet. However, a source dismissed the rumors a few months ago.
“They will do things for ‘The Voice,’ but they don’t plan on working together outside the show right now,” an insider revealed. “They want to work on their relationship and make that work and keep work separate, besides, of course, what they do for the show. When it comes to their outside careers, they want to keep it separate.”
Since Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have already established their relationship, which includes meeting each other’s family, then the next step could be doing a duet. The only problem that they are facing is Gavin Rossdale since his divorce from the No Doubt singer hasn’t been finalized yet.
There have been reports that Miranda Lambert has been copying Gwen Stefani – having the same pink hair and wearing their boyfriend’s hat. Maybe when she heard that Blake Shelton is planning to do a duet with her girlfriend, she started to convince Anderson East to write music with her as well.
