Tim Burton might have household names as cast for his other movies, but for "Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children," he has stunt double Gemita Samarra showcased.
Tim Burton has made Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter his staple movie characters, but recently he's treading on a different path, on choosing actors that is.
According to Cross Map, the movie "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" has started filming in Tampa Bay, Florida earlier last year and will move to UK and Belgium afterwards.
"Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" is a book authored by Ransom Riggs, which focuses on the children that are living in Miss Peregrine's house. These children are "peculiar" because of their one of a kind talent.
Apparently, Tim Burton is the person to choose when it comes to helming gothic movies such as "Edward Scissorhands," "Beetlejuice" and "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children."
Tim Burton will be working with producers Jenno Topping and Peter Chernin. The movie will be produced by Chernin Entertainment and Jane Goldman is in-charge with the screenplay.
Reportedly, "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" is quite "eerie" because of Ransom Riggs crafted black and white photos on the books that could somewhat give you the creeps.
Meanwhile, Gemita Samarra might still not be the loudest name in the movie industry but you might take not of her outrageous work in "Kingsman: The Secret Service" and recently, "Spectre."
Gemita Samarra will be playing Ella Purnell's double in the "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" movie.
"I did that right after Bond. I was doubling Ella Purnell, who was great. So that was really fun and Tim Burton's great to work with as well," Samarra said when asked about being in "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children."
Eva Green, Samuel L. Jackson, Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell and Judi Dench are among the actors that will be part of the cast.
Tim Burton's "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" movie will be released on Mar. 4, 2016.
