"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is about to be grittier and raw than ever, as it reportedly set to highlight a horde of zombies and an all new flying monsters that will surely give the viewers a chill.
After waiting for five years, fans will finally get a taste of what's in store for the final chapter of the "Resident Evil" franchise. Most recent news reveals that the upcoming film will be loaded with great action scenes and features a new and improved Alice (Milla Jovovich).
The Independent, in its report, noted that the final chapter in the popular live-action "Resident Evil" series will take after the events of the film's 2012 predecessor.
Apparently, it will follow the exploits of Alice who comes back to Raccoon City to pursue the notorious Umbrella Corporation, the company who created the virus that that should be halted.
As a quick refresher about what happened in "Resident Evil: Retribution," utilizing the White House as a military fortress, Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts), apparently confronted Alice in the Oval Office and used his superhuman speed to infuse her with the T-virus.
But, why? What's his intention? Shockingly, Wesker intends to use Alice as a weapon alongside the few remaining humans to battle the undead. Nonetheless, Alice figured out how to manage it and notably, the only person to utilize the virus.
However, the film ended before viewers can see the aftereffect of Wesker's action and such, many questions evidently lingered within the fans.
"The humans will face the zombie hordes that will include new flying monsters and the Umbrella Corporation," Design & Trend revealed. "The Corporation that created the virus will have to be stopped in the location in which the first outbreak occurred."
Subsequently, many predicted that the demise and "mayhem-packed" conclusion will apparently resolve the highly anticipated showdowns in the middle of Alice and the supercomputer Red Queen and in addition, Wesker.
Meanwhile, lead actress Milla Jovovich teases vast majority of the fans about "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter."
"[The film will be] much more gritty and raw than the last one," said Milla Jovovich, as noted by Game Spot. "The action is in your face and very realistic. No slow motion."
"I think Alice has really come into her own in this movie. We see sides to her that we've never seen in the other films! Alice has finally embraced who she is and what she has become. She is more confident and strong," she added when asked about her character.
With that being said, "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is scheduled to be released on Jan. 27, 2017.
