Stunning and simply amazing! - These are the words that vast majority of the fans felt as the epic halftime show slayed the 50th anniversary tribute to Super Bowl.
The British band, Coldplay, invited the music diva Beyoncé and Bruno Mars to share the spotlight and to set an epic performance for the Super Bowl 50's halftime extravaganza and they definitely slayed it!
As beforehand reported, the event was billed as a festival of the past, present and the future of pop music.
Thus, Coldplay began to rocked things off with their first hit, "Yellow," sung by Chris Martin, of course, along with an enthralling set of fireworks display, as Martin advanced toward the midfield stage.
The Halftime show then immediately dispatched into "Viva La Vida" with a goliath flower-shaped stage, segueing then into "Paradise" song and then, promptly into their last year's hit single entitled "Adventure of a Lifetime."
"Followed by the new "Adventure of a Lifetime," as fireworks hit and flowers bloomed on the field," Rolling Stone reported. "Then, things took a decidedly funky turn, as Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars showed up to work through their hit 'Uptown Funk,' Mars styling and profiling, thick gold chain bouncing rhythmically around his neck," it added.
After such, then there is Beyoncé, rocking on her new single entitled "Formation" on the field alongside a hundreds of mind blowing backup dancers behind her.
"After that track's first verse, Mars joined in on the festivities as the two songs - 'Formation' and 'Funk' - melded, with additional snippets ('Crazy In Love,' natch) tossed in for good measure as the two dance-battled, according to Spin.
Both of the guest artist then went for a dance showdown, which moreover delighted all the viewers. Indeed, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, effectively pushed up the show's energy level.
But could it be that their energy level is staggeringly high that they eventually steal the spotlight from the halftime headline performer, Coldplay?
Well, it doesn't appear to be so, as both guest performer and Coldplay were just doing their best to set an epic performance that would definitely entertain the viewers.
Nonetheless, Coldplay's frontman Christ Martin alongside Beyoncé and Bruno Mars apparently celebrates a triumphant Super Bowl 50 halftime performance.
