The trailer of the highly anticipated "Gears of War" trailer has been released but missed one of the most beloved characters Marcus Fenix.
According to cinemablend.com, the trailer begins with 2 COG soldiers wandering a forest then a cinematic reveal shows that the two are not one of the main characters from the previous games: Marcus Fenix or Cole Train. The featured characters are actually unknown male and female heroes.
In a report by trustedreviews.com, the new heroes of the game seen in the trailer are expected to be "called JD and Kait - although whether or not they're the new faces of the franchise is unclear. You can have a look at the pair of them in some new concept art that was published on Polygon."
Aside from the new lead protagonists, the report also states that the game's villain is reportedly new also. "Finally, we know there's a new enemy to fight - since both the Locust and the Lambant were obliterated at the end of Gears 3.The demo only showed a couple of quadruped beasties with massive mouths filled with teeth and tendrils, but gave no indication as to whether they're the main adversaries in Gears 4. Here's hoping there's a large smorgasbord of bad guys to blast through."
As seen on gamespot.com, the game's developer Black Tusk and its producer said that there will be no Marcus Fenix collectors edition for Xbox One. "I love the passion, but there's no Marcus Fenix Collection," Rod Fergusson said. "We ARE working on other exciting Gears projects. I'll see you at E3."
Since then, fans have believed that the reason behind this is that Fenix is expected to appear in "Gears of War 4 and that Black Tusk studio is still not done with the beloved character. The much-awaited game can be expected to be released this 2016.
