Missy Elliott fans' excitement for her new album got reignited once more as the rapper dropped a new single just in time for Super Bowl 50.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the full new track for "Pep Rally" dropped on Sunday and was instantly available on iTunes and Spotify. It followed the Elliott's comeback single hit "WTF (Where They From)."

"Uptown, downtown," the new tune began as heard on Youtube.

"Are you ready? "On your mark, let's go," it continued until kicking off to beats fit for a game.

"Pep Rally" was also featured in the new Amazon Echo advertisement that was aired during the Super Bowl 50. As told by MTV, the 44-year-old rapper can be seen with Alec Baldwin, Dan Marino and Jason Schwartzman. Toward the end, she gave the Amazon Echo a try and asked it to play her new track.

Amid the excitement for her new album, Missy Elliott also took to Twitter to get fans to download her new single for the meantime.

"That new 'Pep Rally' you can get it at Amazon/iTunes/ GooglePlay/Spotify/AppleMusic it's EVERYWHERE," she tweeted.

The rapper's fans and followers on social media were immediately revved up in excitement and hoped that a music video for the new tune will soon follow. Other fans, on the other hand, were hoping the new track meant that the album may possibly be released very soon.

The Misdemeanor has been very tight-lipped about her upcoming album and even the music that would be included in it. She admitted last year that it was because she wanted to be sure that her music would be great.

"I have to be very careful," she said Billboard in an interview last November. "It's different now. People are quick to be like, 'You're irrelevant, you're a flop, you're washed up.'"

"Missy is careful about not releasing stuff unless she feels it in her gut," rapper-dancer Sharaya J also told the magazine about Elliott's music. "She wasn't going to make a move until she knew she had a record that was going to change the world."

The Missy Elliott new album release remains unknown but she hoped to drop it this year. For now, fans can listen to her new single, "Pep Rally," below.
