One of the big news in the world of Naruto is the upcoming manga sequel that focuses on Naruto's son, Boruto.

Buoyed by the success of "Boruto: The Naruto Movie," it aims to tell the story of the next generation of Hidden Leaf ninjas as they face the typical teenage life story that everyone has grown accustomed to in the early days of "Naruto."

Fortunately, the movie about Naruto's son was received well. In a review by LA Times, "no 'Naruto' fan will want to miss 'Boruto,' which suggests a new direction the franchise may take, now that the long-running TV series has finally concluded." The story of Naruto's son is starting strong and fans are eager to know if the story would actually take a different direction.

Of course, it would be unwise if the character development and story would be similar to the original manga series. The next generation of ninja's however, will feature someone extremely powerful due to the combination of skills: Sarada Uchiha. Daughter of Sakura and Sasuke, she has been revealed to have harnessed the power of Sakura at a very early age while developing her father's Sharingan in her early teens.

Aside from her power, she is also has a very interesting back story and the manga will make sure it comes out once in a while. According to the Wikia page for Naruto, Sarada will always struggle with the fact that Sasuke is not there to be her.

She would even have some emotional trauma since her first meeting with her father did not go well. Her problems with her father would make her relate to Boruto more but her story could easily take a darker turn as she will try to seek out her father.

According to Anime News Network, "Boruto" will be a monthly manga and will feature Ukyō Kodachi penning the script with Mikio Ikemoto as its artist. Series creator Masashi Kishimoto will supervise the story.
