Beyoncé and Bruno Mars shared the Super Bowl 50 half-time stage with headliner Coldplay.
Business Insider reported that prior to her performance at Sunday's Super Bowl, Queen B released her newest single, entitled "Formation," on Saturday. She also dropped the music video for the track.
Katrina Jo of the Alumni Clippers Spirit even shared her thought on Queen B's latest single. "Beyoncé SLAYED once again with the surprise 'Formation' song & video," she tweeted.
"Ready to get my life with Beyoncé," Jo said in another tweet.
Beyoncé performed "Formation" for the first time in the Super Bowl 50 half-time show. In their review, USA Today noted that Beyoncé just stole the spotlight from Coldplay.
Washington Post noted that the Super Bowl 50 half-time show as "the most widely witnessed musical performance in our country each year, but very few artists seem interested in rising up to the moment."
The publication also praised Beyoncé's performance, describing it as both serious and skillful.
"And for an artist cranking up the politics this far into her fame, she might deserve an entire chapter in the great book of celebrity miracles," WP wrote.
"Yes, Beyoncé is still a one-percenter, but she doesn't seem disconnected, or even fake-connected. Her halftime gig reminded us of this. The woman was literally on the ground."
Caitlin Thompson commented that "Bey should be appointed to the Super Bowl halftime show for life."
Mrs. Carter also announced her plans for a world tour. Entertainment Weekly reported that it will kick off in Miami on Apr. 27. It will go through North America and will head to Europe in June.
"Formation" world tour tickets will be on sale in Feb. 16. However, fans can pre-order it as early as Feb. 9.
Queen B's tour will be going to Miami, FL, Atlanta, GA, Raleigh, NC, Nashville, TN, Houston and Dallas, TX, San Diego, Los Angeles and Santa Clara, CA, Seattle, WA, Edmonton, AB, Minneapolis, MN and Toronto, ON, among others.
The North American leg of the tour will end on Jun.12 in Hershey, PA.
