A new "Captain America: Civil War" trailer was aired during Super Bowl 50.
Describing "Civil War" as "one of this year's big superhero movies," Tech Insider reported that the teams for the opposing sides on the film have been revealed in the new trailer.
Team Iron Man will have Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Vision (Paul Bettany).
Team Captain America will consist of Ant-Man (Paul Rudd), the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Agent 13, also known as Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp).
Emily VanCamp, who portrays the Cap's love interest, has previously stated that Sharon Carter remains firmly on Steve Rogers' team throughout the course of the movie.
"She's definitely Team Captain America," she said. "That's who she is within the universe, I mean; she's always had his back."
Tech Insider speculated that Spider-Man may side with Iron Man since Stark's team lacks one Avenger to even out the battle.
It was previously reported that Joe Russo teased that fans may only get to see Tom Holland's Spider-Man when the film premieres this May.
Apparently, the deal between the two companies allows Marvel to have control over the character when he's alongside the Avengers while Sony has control over Spidey during his solo adventures.
The latest "Captain America: Civil War" trailer was released during Super Bowl 50.
In an exclusive report by Geek, it was confirmed by sources close to the production that Steve Rogers will be killed by the end of the movie. The publication noted that the Russo brothers seem to be sticking to the comics' plot.
The Fallen Son storyline shows how Cap surrenders to the authorities. Afterwards, "he's sniped by Crossbones and shot by a brainwashed Sharon Carter and apparently killed," Geek wrote.
Frank Grillo portrays Crossbones in "Captain America: Civil War," which will premiere on May 6.
