Specific details and information regarding the next Nexus phone are still floating as there are still uncertainties about its final release date, price and many others.

But rumors are starting to spread like wildfire that the Nexus 2016 will be the flagship phone incorporated with Virtual Reality technology, Yibada reported.

The report elaborated that the new phone is rumored to fully support virtual reality technology, both in hardware and software aspect, and will come with a VR headset which will replace the Google Cardboard that was introduced a few years ago by Google.

This is expected to come with the new Android version coming this year which will be able to support these new features of Nexus, with VR headset in the picture.

"VR is too important and too powerful a medium to be accessible to only a few," a Google executive said as quoted by Yibada in an iDigitalTimes report.

It was mentioned in the report that the components of the Nexus VR will be manufactured by three manufacturers namely, Huawei, LG and HTC, all of which were previous device makers of Google.

As for those consumers who might be worrying about the hefty price that comes along with it, it is included in Google's plan to sell the Android VR with a very reasonable price so as for the product to gain a hold on the market, Yibada added.

This Virtual Reality feature is expected to be unveiled this year together with the new Nexus phones during the Google's annual I/O Developers' conference which will be happening in May. Rumors are circulating that that these two new handsets will be called T55 and T50, respectively,

Yibada stated. Both handsets will be having a large screen size, with T50 sporting a 5-inch screen and T55 featuring a 5.5-inch display.
