With that being said, leading lady Gal Gadot, while promoting the said superhero film, might just have hinted a tragic ending in her standalone "Wonder Woman" movie. Oh no!

"She's seen it all," says Gadot in her interview with Empire. "She has seen what humans can do, so it was very hard for her to come back and fight."

Alas, "Wonder Woman" - Amazons' warrior princess which is than 5,000 years old is coming out of retirement soon.

The 30-year-old actress then was quick to change the course of the point and cheerfully conceded that she had no clue what her first audition was for.

"I only knew what role it was when I flew in to test with Ben (Affleck)," she revealed. "I was very excited. Anytime I had general meetings in LA, I always said that my dream role was to do an empowered, independent woman who doesn't rely on men."

Meanwhile, DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns clarified "Wonder Woman's" viewpoint on humans in the promo video for the movie.

"These Amazons were once created to protect man's world but they since abandoned it," as noted by Christian Post. "And Diana's constantly asking 'why don't we go do what we were created to do and protect man?' They say because they're not worth it. And this takes her on a journey into our world."

Gal Gadot as "Wonder Woman" is slated to hit the theaters on June 23, 2017.
