The highly anticipated "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" film has finally wrapped out and is now all set to air next month.
However, after finishing the first of two cinematic parts based on the "Divergent" trilogy by Veronica Roth, film director Robert Schwentke already dropped out even before completing the final film.
Entertainment Weekly, in its report, noted that there's nothing vile going on and reveal the reason why the German film director opted out to do the film finale.
Accordingly, film director Robert Schwentke needed to take some time off after directing the second and third instalments in "The Divergent Series."
"He needed a break after doing two Lionsgate/Summit films, back to back, and wanted to spend more time with his family in L.A rather than go back to Atlanta," an anonymous source told The Hollywood Reporter.
With that being said, vast majority of the fans seems too anxious about it. What will happen to "The Divergent Series: Ascendant" now? Will there be no "Ascendant" any longer or will it be still pushed through as planned?
Apparently, Robert Schwentke's abrupt departure leaves the studio scrambling to find a replacement to meet "The Divergent Series: Ascendant's" planned June 9, 2017 release date.
Oh, no! Could it be that the release date of the highly anticipated series finale might be defer to a later date?
Well, fret not! As it ought to be noted that nothing has yet been announced concerning its release date.
As of press time, the position of "Divergent" director is open, where Lions Gate are hoping that they can quickly find a replacement director suitable to close "The Divergent Series" franchise.
Especially now that the "Ascendant" is scheduled to shoot in Atlanta this summer.
For those who are new, the story spins around Tris (Shailene Woodly), who possesses all five personality traits and is seen as a threat to the society of trilogy - which characterizes its citizens by their social and personality-related connection with five distinct groups.
Tris and Tobias "Four" Eaton (Theo James), together with the support of their friends, open the city entryways to discover what lies beyond the city boundaries.
