There were rumors coming out that Cameron Diaz is pregnant with Benji Madden's baby, but the couple hasn't confirmed the news yet.
Whether the 43-year-old actress is pregnant or not, one thing for sure is that she's ready to start a family with her husband.
"She had a good run as a tough-talking single sister, but like others of her age, she has mellowed and wants more out of life," an insider told PEOPLE. "She is getting it and loving it. She and Benji like and love each other. Their minds are in sync, they are on the same page."
According to the website, Benji Madden is different from Cameron Diaz's ex-boyfriends. The Good Charlotte guitarist is the kind of man that she needs in her life because of his close family ties. The 36-year-old rocker has a twin brother who is married to another famous celebrity.
Joel Madden has been married to reality TV star Nicole Richie for more than five years. The couple has two children - Harlow, 8 and Sparrow, 6. Maybe the couple and their children have inspired Cameron Diaz to get pregnant with Benji Madden.
"She has settled in, settled down and wants to have a family," their source said. "She is doing everything she can to enjoy this time in her life. She is feeling fulfilled and wants to be a mom."
E! News reported last year that the "Sex Tape" actress has told the 36-year-old rocker that she really wants a baby, but he told her to marry him first since that's important to him. During an interview with The Telegraph, Cameron Diaz hinted that she's not in a rush to get pregnant with Benji Madden.
"If I wanted kids, at any point in life, I would have them," she said. "But I'm certain that if at any point I wanted a child, that child would find its way into my life, whether through adoption or through being in a relationship with somebody who has a child."
