Lamar Odom just attended his first public event since his hospitalization.

USA Today reported that the former NBA star went to Kanye West's "Yeezy Season 3" show at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Thursday. Odom was joined by Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian-West, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner as well as Caitlyn, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Last October, Lamar Odom was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel in Las Vegas. It was revealed that he overdosed on drugs, specifically cocaine and sexual performance enhancers.

Kanye West also premiered his latest album, entitled "The Life of Pablo," in a live event at the famed New York venue.

According to People, Lamar Odom wore a green military jacket as he walked behind West. He sat down next to his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian.

"Khloé and Lamar made the decision together to fly to N.Y.C. It's a fun trip for Lamar," a source told the publication.

"They both seemed excited. Khloé will make sure that he is taken care of. For Lamar, it's very important that he keeps regaining his old life. This will motivate him so he is able to keep focusing and work hard."

"It's very exciting that Lamar is getting back into his old world," the source continued. "No one deserves it more."

A source told E! News that the former NBA star was "very nervous to be making his first public appearance."

"He spoke to Kim [Kardashian] and Kanye about their thoughts about him attending the Kanye show before, but it was Khloe's ultimate decision,' the insider explained.

"Kanye personally invited him, but he wouldn't make this huge appearance without the support and green light from Khloe...[She] is making all the calls on what Lamar is doing and who he speaks to this trip and won't be leaving his side."

Last month, Khloe Kardashian confirmed that the former Laker player was doing "really good" since his overdose last October.
