Is the competition of "Gran Turismo Sport" the reason for the trailer?
The iconic car racing game has just released a trailer on their latest game installment. It will not only be exclusive to Sony's PlayStation 4 but it will also be having a beta for those interested in trying out the game before it's official launch.
According to Alphr, the exclusive PlayStation game took quite a while since it was two years after the release of "Gran Turismo 6." The game has changed a lot since the days of "Gran Turismo 2" and "Gran Turismo 3."
Meanwhile, the trailer of "Gran Turismo Sport" was finally released and revealed a snippet of what the upcoming game is going to look like. Though the developers took a while to reveal what the game actually looked like and only revealed an image prior to the release of the trailer.
There were a number of premium cars that made an appearance, reported Master Herald, and series director Kazunori Yamauchi is confident that they will represent the 2015 and 2016 era. However, the big problem comes if the game's release will be delayed even further. If the game gets released in 2017, the cars that are already in the game will become old news.
Those who are unfamiliar with the game franchise may confuse the upcoming video game as "Gran Turismo 7" but, according to Segment Next, Polyphony Digital confirmed that "Gran Turismo Sport" is entirely different. They are also hoping that the upcoming game will add to the 76.5 million units that have been sold in the entire franchise.
"Gran Turismo Sport" will be coming into beta in spring 2016 and the release date is projected to be in 2016 and 2017. Watch the trailer below.
