After news of Jeremy Davis leaving the band, Paramore has yet to prove themselves to their fans.
Remaining members Hayley Williams and Taylor York have confirmed that they are currently working on their fifth album. Touring and session drummer Aaron Gillespie also opened up about his role in Paramore.
According to NME, Gillespie has been performing with Paramore since 2013 and joins the band for their live shows since the departure of original drummer Zac Farro in 2010.
Aaron Gillespie is also the drummer of post-hardcore band Underoath and the vocalist of Christian band The Almost.
Apparently, Paramore has opted to work with Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin when they recorded their fourth album, 2013's self-titled effort.
DIY also reported that Gillespie clarified his role in Paramore through the latest episode of Shane Told's show, "Lead Singer Syndrome."
"They're amazing people." Gillespie enthused. "It's an honor to get to play with them. It's something that's super challenging because of their stature, and because you want to be great for something like that."
Earlier this year, Paramore front woman Hayley Williams also broke the news that she and Taylor York are brewing up a fifth album.
Meanwhile, Paramore's ex-guitarist, Josh Farro is beaming with pride as he released his debut solo album entitled "Walkways" on Feb. 4, as reported by Billboard.
"It's been a long time coming, but the day is finally here," Farro told Billboard. "Walkways" is a great representation of the musical journey I've been on over the last year."
Reportedly, Josh Farro's pop-rock debut album was recorded with producer Jacquire King at Nashville's Blackbird Studio. His brother Zac Farro, Paramore's ex-drummer also shared his chops on the "majority of the album."
Aside from having a new album in the works, Paramore front woman Hayley Williams also broke the news that she and longtime boyfriend Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory are getting married.
