The Cleveland Cavaliers seem like they are far from contented with their current roster as they are reported to pursue multiple names.

There are reports that have linked the Cavs to the Atlanta Hawks' Kyle Korver who was once the best three point shooter in the NBA, and the Washington Wizards' Jared Dudley. Now, there are claims that they are interested in Ben McLemore of the Sacramento Kings.

From Cleveland.com writer Chris Haynes, "Cleveland is on the prowl for wing assistance with the Feb. 18 trade deadline fast approaching."

Acquiring McLemore makes great financial sense for the capped-out Cavs. Haynes also believes that McLemore could be a keeper as the Cavs' other shooting guard option may bolt at the end of the season.

"For Cleveland, McLemore would be additional backcourt depth at a relative cheap rate. He's earning $3.1 million this season and $4 million in 2016-17 before hitting restricted free agency," Haynes stated. "McLemore could also serve as a security blanket should J.R. Smith decide to bolt in free agency this summer."

However, the task may not be easy for the Cavaliers as they are short on assets. For one thing, their 2016 draft pick is already owed to the Suns, according to team site King James Gospel. What the Cavaliers are hoping is that the Kings would sell low on McLemore who has not been utilized much by Kings coach George Karl, but will the Cavs have assets to offer?

"The only problem for the Cavs, is that they don't have anyone that may interest the Kings," KJG said. "Their roster isn't really full of tradable talent, and Timofey Mozgov, the player the Cavs want to trade away, doesn't necessarily fit the Kings' scheme."

This is a challenge for the Cavs' front office as Haynes mentioned that the Cavaliers are really determined to make a trade.

"It's not a matter of if, but when the Cavaliers make a move," Haynes concluded.
