"Need for Speed" is coming to PC and the upcoming release will feature something really interesting for avid fans of arcade racing and racing simulations. The popular racing game franchise will now feature "steering wheel support for a selection of wheels from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec," according to the game's official website.

No additional feature on the use of steering wheel was included but judging on the list released through the announcement, it's safe to say that near driving experience should be expected from the game. However, racing gamers will just have to wait for the release on PC if it features in-game adjustment.

Aside from support for steering wheels from popular game accessories, the announcement also included a feature requested by the gaming community: manual transmission. These two features alone should improve the gaming experience of every race fan.

But that's not all. Gamespot also reported that the game "will run at a higher frame rate than consoles if your computer can handle it. The game sports an unlocked frame rate capable of delivering 4K visuals."

These three important updates on the upcoming release should mean that "Need for Speed" is aiming to give players real driving experience.

Console gamers should not feel left out with the announcement. The announcement also included some important upgrade that will come soon to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

According to Engadget, "PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners will get manual gear-shifting too, although it's not clear exactly when this update will arrive." There is no specific timetable but since the PC is set for March 15, it's highly possible that the updates will come soon after the PC version release.

These updates from "Need for Speed" should greatly complement the gaming experience. especially for online matches. Gamers are practically setting up their virtual vehicles inside the living room so they could race against anyone around the world.
