"Hollywood Game Night" in its episode on Tuesday, aired on NBC 5, debuted Amarillo Little Theater Director Jason Crespin.
Crespin has been in several plays and internet videos before, but it's his first time to debut in National Television through "Hollywood Game Night." His pursuit started by just an application that went on to a series of tests and interviews just five hours after applying.
According to Amarillo Globe News, after the preliminary steps, Crespin flew with Michael Froschheiser to Los Angles last November for the taping.
In a report by My High Plains, the ALT director elaborated his pursuit in joining the show and directly told in a previous interview that he wanted his students to pursue whatever opportunity that comes along their way, and hopes he could serve as an inspiration to them.
"Hopefully, this encourages them to apply themselves to more opportunities, whether it be in television or film or theater, I just hope that they apply themselves a little bit more and know that if I can do it, if Mr. Jason can do it, then they can easily do it and surpass anything that I'm capable of."
During the show, the director was reportedly approached by the host, Jane Lynch, who recognized him a bit. When asked by Lynch if they have already met sometime before, Crespin told her that he approached her before during a performance of "The King and I," Amarillo Globe News added.
Crespin also mentioned during the interview that the episode he will be in a "Battle of the Sexes" game and two more other new games. He was teamed up with Michael Ealy, Ben Feldman and Adam Goldberg against opponents Kate Walsh, Angela Kinsley and Geena Davies.
