Christina Aguilera got some serious help as she makes her comeback on "The Voice." Latest news revealed she's teaming up with Patti LaBelle.
As reported by People magazine, the "Dirrty" singer was already revved up for the new season and can't wait to work with the Grammy Hall of Famer. The "Superwoman" singer has even warned all their competition to "watch out."
"Working with Patti was a dream come true," Aguilera pointed out to the source above. "It was such a great experience to have her mentor my team and she has such a great way of giving advice in a way that is clear and direct yet gentle and constructive."
"I adore Christina, so I was honored and excited when she invited me to be a part of her team and we had a ball working together!" LaBelle shared. "And there is so much talent on our team ... everyone else better watch out!"
Meanwhile, Blake Shelton got what he wanted after all the rumors and news that he wanted to kick out Christina Aguilera on "The Voice" in favor of girlfriend Gwen Stefani.
As reported by Access Hollywood, the "Neon Light" singer will partner with the No Doubt frontman.
"We know we collaborate well together as coaches so of course I would have her my mentor," Shelton said. "And she's so smart and talented."
The mentor position was a dream come true for Stefani who told the Associated Press back in October that she wanted to continue with the talent show even after her judging stint was over. Since then, news reports and rumors have been swirling that a rift has formed between Christina Aguilera, Shelton and Stefani.
The "Beautiful" singer has previously insisted though that she has a great relationship with the "The Voice" pair.
"I've known her for many, many years," she told E! News of Stefani in November. "And because of the show, I've known Blake for ten seasons in know-how many years is that? So I know they're both amazing people."
