It has long been rumored that "Space Jam" sequel or a remake is in development with big names like former MVPs Lebron James and Kobe Bryant tagged as the new Michael Jordan; and in time for the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, retired NBA Player and "Space Jame" star Tyrone Curtis "Muggsy" Bogues picked his potential "Space Jam 2" lineup.

Muggsy Bogues was one of the five players, along with Larry Johnson, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing and Shawn Bradley, who together with Michael Jordan, helped the Looney Tunes play basketball versus alien slavers. Standing only 5'3," Muggsy Bogues is known to be the shortest ever player to play in the NBA, where he played point guard for a 15 season career.

In a recent interview with ESPN, Bogues shared his thoughts about a potential "Space Jam 2" lineup. First, to fill up Charles Barkley's role, Bogues picked former MVP Lebron James. "You gotta have Lebron," Bogues said.

Lebron James has been long rumored to fill a starring role for "Space Jam 2" and in his appearance on "Today" last year, although he has nothing official to announce, Lebron James is determined to make "Space Jam 2" happen.

"We hope so," Lebron said (via Entertainment Weekly). "We definitely miss them, Bugs and Daffy and Tasmanian Devil, and every last one of them, so hopefully we can do some great things."

Moreover, the original "Space Jam" lineup had two centers, and according to Bogues, "The big tall guy, probably would be either Anthony Davis or [Andre] Drummond. Those are the other two guys."

Bogues spent most time deciding who could fill in the Larry Johnson role, and he said, "Draymond Green would be LJ, I guess."

According to ESPN, Green is "not a bad comparison." For this season in the NBA, Green is averaging 14.2 PPG, 9.5 RPG and 7.2 APG; at the same age as Green, Larry Johnson's stats were: 18.8 PPG, 7.2 RPG, and 4.6 APG.

As to who would be him, Muggsy chose Boston Celtics player Isaiah Thomas, a first-time All-Star player this year.

Who then would be the new Michael Jordan? Bogues didn't have a pick. But ESPN made a recommendation: someone who's also "Jordanesque, five-time champion who is retiring soon and might have some free time on his hand."

None other than the Black Mamba, Kobe Bryant!
