The anime adaptation of a popular manga is nothing new as more and more mangas who gain in popularity eventually gets picked up by animation studios for adaptation.

Some of them come and go without worldwide attention while some have become a cultural force that it has practically introduced the anime culture to other countries.

One of the mangas currently in development for anime adaption is "Mob Psycho 100." According to its Wikia site, the manga is "about a young middle schooler, Shigeo Kageyama, nicknamed "Mob" living in Spice City. Ever since he was young, he has had astounding psychic powers. However, this Esper power is unable to grant him the one thing he wishes for the most: to be friends with the girl he likes in his class."

So why should anyone care about this upcoming anime? It turns out that the creator of the manga is also the same creator of one of the most popular anime TV series in 2015: "One Punch Man,"  According to Anime News Network,

"The manga creator ONE launched the Mob Psycho 100 series on Ura Sunday in 2012 and later in Shogakukan's MangaOne app in 2014. Shogakukan published the 11th compiled book volume of the manga in December."

Additional information about the manga reveals the psychic capacity of the protagonist. He has to constantly control his power so it would not reach level 100 or else something bad would happen to his body. The recently released trailer posted on YouTube shows his various psychic abilities on his own as well as in combat.

With the regards to the release date, the only information revealed in the teaser trailer is that it's coming out this year. From the looks of the trailer and animation, the anime TV series can be interpreted as the psychic version of One Punch Man, only he has to hold it in to prevent serious trouble.
