As the day of the Mobile World Congress approaches, rumors and speculations from different mobile manufacturers are rounding up recently.

GSM Arena's report mentioned about several devices consumers should eye for during the upcoming event.

As for the Korean tech giant Samsung, it is likely that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be present in the event alongside its curved counterpart, the Galaxy S7 Edge. But there are speculations that a larger phone with a 6-inch display and a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will also be revealed together with the S7 phones.

LG, on the other hand, will also be likely announcing another mobile phone which will be their current flagship device for 2016. The LG G5 is expected to be launched with a new design and a new feature of a sliding removable battery.

Despite its expected debut on February 24, the Xiaomi Mi 5 is speculated to be announced by the Chinese OEM during the event, which means that a possibility for a first-hand experience is most likely to happen.

As for Sony, despite its no-show during the last MWC event, the Japanese tech giant is reported to launch something on February 22 but details are still unknown regarding the type of device they'll be unveiling.

HTC's M10 has become a favorite among the upcoming phones list but its presence in the event shouldn't be highly expected. GSM Arena noted that HTC has not yet formally announced an official event at this year's MWC.

Huawei, Alcatel, Gionee and Oppo are also expected to launch their devices respectively. The P9 from Huawei, the Idol 4 and 4S from Alcatel which was reported to sport a QHD AMOLED Display, the Elife S8 from Gionee and an upgraded F1 Plus from Oppo.

There's too much to elaborate regarding the specifications of these upcoming devices, but consumers are expected to be highly anticipative on which of these rumors would be true once the event unfolds.
