The world of Naruto will extend to his son and it will be serialized as a manga this spring. Naruto's son Boruto will be featured as a serialized monthly manga, according to Anime News Network.
The creator of the manga, however, will only work to supervise the storyline with a different script writer and graphic artist.
Just like the original manga and anime TV series, the upcoming sequel will focus on young ninjas trying to find their way in becoming one of the best especially in becoming the next Hokage. Most of the characters and their back stories have been revealed which gives fans of the popular anime ideas on how the story will play out in the future.
However, one of the great mysteries that has yet to be tackled in various formats (anime, movie, OVA, etc.) is the identity of Metal Lee's mother. From the looks, the name and physical capabilities alone, any anime fan can surmise that Metal Lee is Rock Lee's son. He is practically a clone of Rock Lee...only with a different name and growing up in a different generation.
One of the most popular theories is Tenten is Rock Lee's wife. However, TVTropes' character profile for Metal Lee does not provide the name of her mother.
The best possible answer, for now, is that the creator, Masashi Kashimoto, has not thought of who will be the Rock Lee's wife. According to Tumblr user utapurinsesu, the creator was asked about Lee's wife and "Kishimoto responds very nervously, then admits he hasn't come up with a wife for Lee/mother for Metal Lee."
The mystery of Metal Lee's mother will be most likely addressed in the upcoming manga. It could become one of the great stories of the manga just like Mitsuki's lineage with Orochimaru or they could simply address the maternal problem by simply showing Rock Lee with his wife attending Metal Lee's training.
