Jeremy Lin's shooting coach has a plan to make him an even more valuable player beyond just being a part of Charlotte Hornets by purportedly bringing back his Linsanity streak via scoring more baskets.

In a recent interview, Doc Scheppler said he planned to improve the Harvard University graduate's shooting ability soon.

"When I see Jeremy during the All-Star Break I'm going to try to get him to believe in his shot more," Scheppler told Hoops Habit.

"Technically I want to help him get the arc on his shot right, get his balance nice and solid, and check out his ball alignment," he further said. "Jeremy has had a habit since high school of kicking his feet forward when he shoots instead of letting them flow forward naturally. That's something I want to correct. I also want work on the efficiency of how he shoots and get his form tight and compact."

Jeremy Lin's shooting coach also acknowledged that the Linsanity has somehow lost his confidence in scoring baskets while part of the Charlotte Hornets.

"Right now Jeremy doesn't seem to trust his shot anymore," Scheppler explained. "It's been a frustrating year for him in terms of his shooting. He's a rhythm shooter. With some rhythm shooters, if they don't see the ball going in they lose confidence in it and stop shooting."

The 27-year-old point guard last scored big with the North Carolina team in January when they faced the New York Knicks. According to ESPN, he made 26 points during the winning game.

Last Wednesday, according to 2paragraphs, Jeremy Lin also got to play 28 minutes in the Charlotte Hornets game against the Indiana Pacers scoring 14 points. In a recent interview, the Linsanity attributed his better performance to just enjoying each game.

"I think at this point I'm just really in a place where I feel like I'm... I'm... [pauses] I'm able to enjoy and appreciate God's blessing in putting me here in the NBA, versus in years past [when I wasn't] really able to enjoy that 'cause I was so fixated on what I needed to do or accomplish," he told GQ magazine.
