The Yeezy Boost 350 Black is officially back on stock and it will be released this week.
According to recent reports, sneaker heads who have been waiting to get their hands on the popular colorway could finally do so on Friday, Feb. 19. However, it has been suggested that just like the previous releases, owning a pair of the Black Yeezys will not be that easy.
"Despite Kanye's intentions to make the sneakers available to a wider audience, something he even brought up at last week's Season 3 fashion show, the only big box stores that will be carrying them are Finish Line, Foot Locker, and Champs," GQ reported. "And you can only claim a pair at those stores through raffles you either already had to wait in line to get or should be currently in line to get."
Good thing, Adidas has recently opened up reservations on their Confirmed app today. But, the article also argued that these shoes should be more easily available in the future should Kanye and adidas want to sustain its popularity.
"There's never going to be a sneaker release that makes everyone happy, but there has to be a more civil approach," the article added. "The status quo of forcing thousands of fans to stab their touch screens in the panicked hope that they might be able to add a sneaker to their virtual cart isn't great for anyone."
Meanwhile a new colorway apart from the Black Yeezy 350 might be underway. According to new rumors, the "Pirate Black/Blue" variation will somehow look very similar to the original Pirate Black colorway.
"It actually does come with very subtle differences to the first release, including white stitching on the upper and blue ankle piping," Highsnobsociety.com reported. "We have sources confirming with us the February 19 release is not the same 'Pirate Black' shoe that released last year."
"It looks to be something new," the report continued. "To reiterate, even though many publications rumored that adidas confirmed it was a restock, we have trusted sources telling us this is indeed an new color. The official colorway is referenced as 'PIRBLK/BLUGRA/NOIESS.'"
