Apart from his great contribution to the music industry, people will also remember Rene Angelil because of the great love story he shared with his wife and talent, Celine Dion.
His life's work has been immortalized just recently, when he was honored at the recently concluded 2016 Grammys.
"During its annual 'In Memorial' reel, the Grammys decided to honor the late music manager by poignantly playing his widow Céline Dion's love ballad 'My Heart Will Go On,'" People reported. "The song began as composer James Horner - who died in a plane crash last summer - was observed and looped while as Angélil's picture flashed across the screen."
"The Grammys' memorial segment was just the latest commemoration of Angélil, who died last month at the age of 73 after a years-long battle with cancer."
Many mourned the death of Rene. With a rumored biopic in honor of his great life underway, many are expecting to see how their love for each other has inspired thousands.
In an interview with People magazine, singer-song writer David Foster shared that Rene and Celine's relationship was to be admired and aspired for.
"I've always said this since I met them in 1989," he said. "They were one of the greatest love stories ever, and I mean ever."
"They had trust. The way she looked at him, the way he looked at her," he continued. "There was an age difference, but as with all great couples, whatever the discrepancies are in age, it just sort of melts away as the months and years go by. They just became René and Céline."
Previous reports claimed that Angelina Jolie has already started ground work on the Rene Angelil Biopic and is already planning to meet Celine, for approval. Mrs. Pitt allegedly wants to play the Canadian singer in her own movie.
