Ryan Tedder revealed that they have plans for a new album for One Republic in the works and that the record is expected to be their best yet.
According to CBC News, members Ryan Tedder and Drew Brown revealed some information about their work, wherein they revealed that the release could potentially come in a few months time.
Furthermore, Brown revealed how excited they are to work on new materials.
"We're really excited about it, we think it's the best thing that we've ever done," Brown said.
The singer, meanwhile, revealed what fans should expect once they hear the new album from One Republic. He revealed that fans should expect to hear more of what they have put out before on their upcoming effort.
"In this band, we are yet to recycle the same sound once on any song that we've ever put out. This album is no exception," Tedder said.
"We're just normal people. We just like to write songs t hat make people feel something and move them."
As for the actual release date of the record, a report from Media Mass last year revealed that their progress is in the early stages and that their follow-up to 2013's "Native" is well under way.
The band was reportedly in the studio with closed doors and rumors say that the group is expected to release their new album in a surprise fashion.
"It's still in the early stages," an unnamed source allegedly told the site about the progress of the One Republic disc. "They got security on the doors to ensure no-one hears a whisper."
According to more rumors and speculations, the new album from Ryan Tedder and the rest of One Republic may hit the shelves in the latter part of this year, as the group is keeping mum on any updates regarding their release.
